Attention all Advanced Placement students who are planning to take AP examinations in May: Tomorrow, Tuesday, April 14 is AP Pre-Registration. Please bring #2 pencils and blue/black ink pens. Please refer to the purple memo for further information and your AHS Student Planner. The second Pre-Registration date is Thursday, April 23. It is mandatory that you Pre-Register!!!

Attention Chess Players! The Spring Student/Staff Chess Match is scheduled for Thursday, April 23rd after school in the cafeteria. All levels of players are welcome. Ryan Beckett and Spencer Zepelin are the student coordinators. All registration forms are due on April 21st. Please see Mrs. Lobser for more information and to confirm your participation.

Attention Knowledge Trivia Enthusiasts!! The Spring Knowledge Master Open is scheduled for Thursday, April 16th after school in room E-9. We need your knowledge! Please see Mrs. Lobser to sign up.

Spanish Club will be going to see the play Bless Me Ultima on Thursday April 23rd at 7 p.m. The play is performed by Su Teatro in Denver and is based off Rudolfo Anaya’s award winning Chicano Literature book. Tickets are $12 per person. If you wish to attend please see Ms. DiSepio by Wednesday, April 15th. Don’t forget Spanish club meets every Wednesday after school in room C-21 at 2:30. New members are always welcomed!

Attention All Juniors!
Registration for the State ACT is today. Please bring a number 2 pencil to your Western Civilization class so that we can pre-register you for the State ACT on April 22nd. If you do not have a Western Civilization class, please make an appointment with your counselor ASAP.

Hey Warriors! Would you like to see a teacher get a pie in the face thrown by a student? Well, the time has come to donate money to select a group of teachers who could have this fate at the Spring Assembly on April 24. Look for the table in the cafeteria April 13th – 23rd in order to donate money. Tickets are 50 cents for 1, or 3 for $1.00. The lucky student’s name will be chosen from this raffle. Don’t forget to donate!

An important announcement from your 2009 Graduation Committee: You should sign-up now for graduation speaker auditions. Here is your chance to leave a legacy with your friends and family. Auditions will be held on Wednesday, April 22nd in Room N3. Please sign-up in Mrs. Sisler’s office between now and Friday, April 17th. This is a rare opportunity to share your observations with a captive audience. See Mrs. Cornils in the Social Studies Office for more details.

"Congratulations to the Boys' Varsity Lacrosse team in its dominant victory over the Eaglecrest Raptors Friday night. The final outcome: Arapahoe 18, Eaglecrest 1. Eric Law led the scoring with 4 goals, and hat tricks were performed by Greg Colosimo, Chris Dominic, and Hunter Hall. Goals made by Blake Besancon, Mike Korsick, Dylan Leary, Conor Ryan, and Connor McHugh rounded out the score. The Black Train continued to roll along, led by goalies Ryan Elliott and Scott Thompson. Way to go, Warriors!"

The Freshmen Boy’s Lacrosse team will play against Douglas County today at 5:30 PM at Douglas County High School! Good Luck Warriors!
