General Announcements

Have you ever thought about the foods you are putting into your body? Where is it from? How was it made? Produce and grain covered with pesticides or meat raised with antibiotics and hormones? Have you ever thought about how this affects your body? Did you know these things can cause learning disabilities, and diseases like cancer? Be educated about what you’re eating before you put it in your mouth, think about where it came from and what it can do to you. Buying food from local farmers not only helps the economy but the environment too. The food is fresher and there is less pollution and cost from the transportation of produce, grains and meats from other states and countries. Fuel your body with healthy and safe foods. Be an aware consumer.

Did you know that green is the new black and gold? Purchase a Go Green T-shirt in the DECA store this week only. This student designed t-shirt is only $10. All profits will be used to purchase a tree to plant on school grounds.
