General Announcements:
Today is Veterans’ Day and we are honored to have guest speakers in the Forum every hour who will share their stories of serving our country in the Armed Forces. Their experiences vary, but they share a common thread of bravery and commitment to freedom and the people of the United States. On this day of remembrance, we would also like to honor the nurses, doctors and medics who devoted themselves to saving the lives of wounded soldiers, and making the deaths of others less painful. You are welcome to come to the Forum during any of your unscheduled hours today.
Would you like to send a service member a holiday card to let them know they are being thought of? Then please drop a signed card into the collection box for Holiday Mail for Heroes at the cafeteria or in the library. Cards must be signed and contain no addresses or personal information. The cards can be commercial or handmade. Cards are sent to random service members and cannot be delivered to specific individuals. Cards do not need envelopes as envelopes will be removed prior to shipment. Collections will continue through Nov. 11. Thank you for considering those who are serving the nation this season.
Auditions for the winter play Charley’s Aunt are Monday after school in the choir room. If you have not picked up your information packet yet from the theatre hallway, please do so. Sign up sheets for both auditions and technical crew positions are also in the theatre hallway. See Mr. Ahern if you have any questions.
