General Announcements:
Here’s some important info for you about National Honor Society: Our monthly meeting for current members is today after school in the forum. This meeting will be a very quick check-in about volunteer opportunities and what’s going on in NHS. This meeting is only for current members, so please do not attend if you are applying for membership right now. For students who have submitted their NHS applications, letters were mailed out to home addresses on Monday, so you should be finding out about your membership status very soon. If you are accepted for membership, please take the required actions to RSVP for the induction ceremony as soon as possible.
FBLA - this is the last week to sign up! Don’t miss out on all the fun and competition! We have a meeting today at 2:30 in Room E9 to sign up for competition. If you have questions see Mrs. Swank in the Business Office.
Come one, come all to the next TSA meeting after school Monday, November 7th in E10. There will be a brief business meeting followed by an activity. If you haven’t paid your dues yet, please bring them to this meeting to get lettering points for the first turn in date! Anyone interested in the TSA Leadership training in December should also attend this meeting!
There will be a parent meeting regarding the Washington D.C. trip for those interested on Thursday in Room N2 at 6:00 p.m.
Hey Warriors! Are you interested in being a part of a winning team? If you like to perform, dance, and express yourself you should consider being a part of the Arapahoe Winter Guard. Coach Bailey and the current members would love for you to come to our first Winter Guard meeting tomorrow at 3 p.m. in the AHS Band Room. Hope to see you there!

Congratulations to our Arapahoe JV Cheers! They took 3rd place in last nights Centennial league competition. Thank you to our fans who came out to support our cheers!
Warrior Football Fans....This weekend is the first round of state playoffs for this 2011 football season. Come support our players as they meet Thunder Ridge for the big game. Be at Shea Stadium Friday night. Game starts at 7 p.m. Let's be loud and proud!!! Go Warriors!!!!
Are you looking to try out for girls soccer in the spring? Then listen up!! The first meeting of the season will be held in room N5 tomorrow after school. If you cannot attend this meeting make sure to see Mr. Bast in the guidance center to find out what you missed. Hope to see you all there!
Winter Sports Registration will take place during lunches this week in the cafeteria. Boys and girls basketball today and wrestling tomorrow. Please stop by the Athletic Office and pick up your registration paperwork today!
Student Insurance coverage is available to all High School students thru K12 Accident and Health. Enrolling is easy and the premium is very inexpensive. Please stop by the Athletic Office to pick up an information sheet. Just a reminder that all students who are going to try out for or be active on a High School athletic team must have insurance prior to registration.
