General Announcements:
Friday, November 11, is Veterans Day. Please stop by the Military Heritage Board by the Security Office and see all our Arapahoe friends and relatives who have or are currently serving in our Armed Forces. During WWII, nearly 3 million teenage boys and girls went to work for the US defense. They deferred their educations to make victory possible, working long hours each day in dangerous places such as shipyards and airplane fuselage plants. Please remember their contributions this Veterans Day.
Would you like to send a service member a holiday card to let them know they are being thought of? Then please drop by the signing table near the service member wall during lunch and sign a card! We are also collecting card donations so if you have unused holiday cards from years past please bring them by. Cards are sent to random service members and cannot be delivered to specific individuals. Cards do not need envelops. Collections will continue through Nov. 11. Thank you for considering those who are serving the nation this season.
