FBLA members, we have a meeting on Wednesday the 22nd after school in room S5. We are working on door decorations and games for Trick or Treat Street. Be a part of FBLA, it’s not too late to join!

The Fall play “Flowers for Algernon” is Thursday, Friday and Saturday of this week. Tickets are $5 and are on sale during lunches all this week in the cafeteria.
ATTENTION ALL JUNIORS AND SENIORS: The 2009 trip to Washington D.C. is here again! This trip is an amazing opportunity to experience Washington D.C. and Capitol Hill first hand as we enter a new era in politics. For those interested in this trip please attend an informational meeting on Thursday, October 23rd at 2:30 in room N-2. If you are unable to attend the meeting please see Mr. Hawthorne or Mr. Myer in the Social Studies department.
Do you write? Paint? Draw? This is a great opportunity to have your artwork, poetry and short stories published in Arapahoe’s literary magazine, The MUSE! Submissions will be accepted starting October 31st until December 12th. Directions to submit are on the AHS website under activities, The MUSE. Get your submissions in ASAP! Athletics
The boys’ varsity soccer team will host Rampart High School today for the first round of the state playoffs. Game time will be 4:00 pm here at AHS. Good luck Warriors!
Both the Boys and Girls Cross Country teams qualified for State last Thursday at the Region Meet at Aurora Sports Park. The Girls finished in first place, led by the following All-Region finishers: Molly McGough (4th place), Sophie McNeely (6th place), and Ashley Limes (10th place). The Boys captured third place, led by All-Region finishers Chris Holt (2nd place), Jason Kearns (4th place), and Kyle Lyons (5th place). Both teams will compete at the State Championships this Saturday at Fossil Ridge HS in Fort Collins.
