General Announcements

It is not too late to join FBLA. We are having a meeting after school at 2:30 on Wednesday in room S5. Come for the fun and see how you can make a difference in your community.

Attention NHS members. Join us for our next meeting Wednesday after school in the forum. We will discuss the upcoming blood drive and other service opportunities. See you there!

Attention all Sophomores and Juniors. Please remember to sign up for the PSAT Test which will be given here at Arapahoe on Wednesday October 15th. You can still sign up in the Guidance Center with Ms. Oeinck through Friday October 10th. The cost is $20 and you receive a study guide.

Attention juniors and seniors. Did you know that you can take college courses that can count as both high school and college credit? If you are interested, please attend an informational meeting regarding the Post Secondary Enrollment Options Program on October 13th in the Forum during the lunch periods. A representative of the PSEO program will provide information on how to take part in this exciting program. See you there.

Hey students…did you know that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month? As a result, this week in volleyball is Think Pink Week. Here are several ways that you can get involved:

1) On Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday in the DECA store, you can purchase pink bracelets, pink t-shirts, and pink memory tags. All of the money we raise will be donated.
2) On Wednesday, wear pink to school!
3) On Wednesday night, come to the volleyball games and help us beat Mullen. All of the players will be wearing pink uniforms, so wear pink then too!

If you have questions, see Coach Syers, the DECA store, or the signs posted around the school. Thanks for your support of this important cause!

Attention Warriors! Tonight is the night you've all been waiting for. Come watch the 2008 DECA Dodgeball Tournament. The tournament begins at 6 pm and it only costs $2 to attend. Come see your favorite teachers get nailed by a dodgeball. Don't miss what promises to be one of the most exciting events of the year!

Athletics
Congratulations to the Freshman A volleyball team for their two-game win over Cherokee Trail last night! Come cheer us on against Mullen and support breast cancer awareness at our Think Pink game this Wednesday!

This season the Freshman football team has been playing amazing but on October 11th they need your help. It’s their second to last home game, so come out and support the Warriors as they take on Grandview. Link Crew will be providing FREE donuts, bagels, coffee and hot chocolate for those who attend. So come at 9 am on October 11th and show Grandview how supportive Arapahoe can be!
