Attention Sophomores! We will hold our next Student Council meeting next Tuesday, November 4, at 2:30 p.m. in room C20. We hope to see you there!
Attention all FCCLA members: Anyone planning to attend districts on Nov. 14th needs to pick up permission slips from Mrs. Rains by the end of the day Monday Nov. 3rd. Also, don’t forget dues are due on Monday as well. Drop by Mrs. Rains’ office if you have questions.
Attention FCCLA officer team: Don’t forget your officer meeting after school on Monday November 3rd in room E2. You will be planning for the next chapter meeting on Nov. 17th . See you there officers!
Attention mathematicians!! Plan to attend the 17th Annual University of Northern Colorado Math Competition today from 2:30 – 4:00 p.m. in room N-2 and N-3. See your math teacher or Mrs. Lobser for details. Spooky snacks will be served! See you there!
For students participating in Math Day at CSU, there will be a mandatory meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 4th at 2:30 in S-8. If you cannot attend, please see Mr. Thurmond in the math office.
Come join your Link Leaders for a bouncy good time. Link Crew is planning an after school field trip for leaders and freshmen to go to JumpStreet – an indoor trampoline park – on Thursday, November 6th. Cost is $12.00 and includes admission to the park, snack and transportation. We will leave AHS at 3:00 p.m. and return at 6:30 p.m. It is first come, first served, so get your permission slips and cold, hard cash into Mr. Hawthorne in the Social Studies Department ASAP! Permission slips are due November 4th.

Athletics
Come out at 7 PM tonight to LPS Stadium to cheer on the Varsity Football Warriors in their final game of the season as they host the Rampart Rams from Colorado Springs. Tomorrow morning at 9 AM come watch your Freshman Warrior Football Team battle the Freshmen from Rampart High School. The game will be played right here at the Arapahoe High School field. Go Warriors!
Congratulations to your Junior Varsity Football Warriors. They were victorious in their final game of the season last Saturday versus Smoky Hill. They ended the season with a winning record of 6 and 3!
Hey Warriors, the varsity volleyball team competes in regionals, the top 16 in state, tomorrow at Mountain Vista. They play at 8 AM, 12:30 PM, and 2 PM. If they end up in the top two of four, they will be the first volleyball team in Arapahoe history to go to the state tournament next weekend. Come on over and help cheer them on to victory. Good luck!
All girls interested in basketball are welcome to attend Coach Burgin’s preseason camp for grades 9 through 12. The camp starts November 3rd and runs through November 11th. Juniors and Seniors will participate from 2:30 to 5:00 pm, Freshman and Sophomores from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Both camps will be held in the Main Gym.
Winter Sports Registration will take place next week! Wrestling will take place on Monday, November 3rd, Boys and Girls Basketball on Tuesday, November 4th and Girls Swimming/Diving will register on Wednesday, November 5th. All registration will take place in Room S4 beginning at 2:30 pm each day. Registration paperwork can be picked up in the Athletic Office.
Hey students and staff. . . interested in running or walking a 5K? We hope you can participate in the Littleton Stride on Sunday, November 2nd. Early registration ends today. Please pick up a registration form for the Littleton Stride 10K and 5K Run from any Physical Education Teacher. Get movin!!
