General Announcements

Spanish club will be hosting a double feature movie event after school today beginning at 4:30 in E-9. For those of you that enjoy artsy flicks we will be showing The Bee Hive followed by the fun-loving animated Bee Movie starting at 6p.m. Come for some snacks, entertaining movies and good times!

Attention all Sophomores and Juniors. Please remember to sign up for the PSAT Test which will be given here at Arapahoe on Wednesday October 15th. You can still sign up in the Guidance Center with Ms. Oeinck through Friday October 10th. The cost is $20 and you receive a study guide.

Attention juniors and seniors. Did you know that you can take college courses that can count as both high school and college credit? If you are interested, please attend an informational meeting regarding the Post Secondary Enrollment Options Program on October 13th in the Forum during the lunch periods. A representative of the PSEO program will provide information on how to take part in this exciting program. See

Congratulations to the Returning Champs for dominating the 2008 DECA Dodgeball Tournament Tuesday night. Their name says it all.

A big thank you to all the Freshmen who helped build the Freshman class float. You all helped make the float a great success and your help was really appreciated! Hope to see you next year for float building!

Athletics

Congrats to the varsity volleyball team for their comeback victory over Mullen last night. Down 2 games to 0, the Warriors battled back and won the next three games, winning 15-10 in the 5th game. Thanks to everyone who supported the Think Pink Cause. The night was a great success!

Congratulations to the sophomore volleyball team for their exciting come-from-behind win against Mullen last night. The team raised their record to 13 and 3 overall with only 3 games to play. Good luck.

This season the Freshman football team has been playing amazing but on October 11th they need your help. It’s their second to last home game, so come out and support the Warriors as they take on Grandview. Link Crew will be providing FREE donuts, bagels, coffee and hot chocolate for those who attend. So come at 9 am on October 11th and show Grandview how supportive Arapahoe can be!

All Freshman Girls interested in basketball, there will be a short informational meeting with coach Burgin on Tuesday, October 14th at 2:20 pm in room S14.
