Good luck to all members of the Warrior Marching Band at their biggest competition of the year tomorrow! The Warrior Marching Band is performing in Prelims at the Douglas County Marching Invitational at 4:45pm. The Finals competition will start at 6:30pm. This will take place at Douglas County High School Stadium. Come on out and cheer on your band! Arapahoe is the Defending Grand Champion Band - go Warrior Marching Band!!
Hey DECA Dodgeball players! There will be a MANDATORY captain’s meeting on Monday, Oct. 6th at 2:20 in room S1. Rules and regulations will be discussed at the meeting. All team captains must attend.
Key Club Members: all club fees including $15.00 for the tee shirt and $15.00 for the community service projects are due Monday, Oct. 6 to Mackie Holland. Please contact Danielle Simler with any questions.
Please congratulate Andrew Carlson on being awarded the first Outstanding Business Student of the year. He was selected for his positive attitude and work ethic in the DECA store this year. Stop by the DECA store to see Andrew’s picture. The next Outstanding Business Student will be selected in December, so stay tuned!
Seniors: Graduation announcement orders will be taken in the cafeteria today and tomorrow during lunches. Ordering packets can be picked up in the main office or guidance office.

Hey, juniors and seniors: Did you know that the Bonfils Blood Center needs over 4,000 blood donors EACH WEEK to meet the needs of our community? You can be one of those donors right here at AHS on Thursday, October 9, when the National Honor Society will be sponsoring a Bonfils Blood Drive. You must be 18 years old, or 17 with parent permission, to donate. Sign up at either lunch on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday next week.

Attention all Juniors! The PSAT is on October 15th at 7:15 am. Please go the Guidance Center to sign up for the PSAT. Bring $20 and your student ID. The last day to register is October 10th. Prepare for your future.
We've got spirit! The Toms will be selling "spirit pops" during both lunches in the cafeteria today. Many of you already know these long-lasting flavorful lollipops are a bargain at one for 75 cents or 2 for a dollar. Come support the team and get your spirit!
Athletics
Congrats to the boys Junior Varsity soccer team who defeated Mullen yesterday 4-1, and also congratulations to boys Varsity soccer team as they defeated Mullen 3 – 1.
The boy’s varsity tennis team lost a close match last night by a score of 4-3 to Littleton. The varsity team wound up their regular season with a 7-5 record and heads into post season play next Tuesday when we host the Regional Tournament.
