General Announcements
Attention Knowledge Trivia Enthusiasts! The Spring Knowledge Master Open is scheduled for today at 2:30 p.m. in E-9. Refreshments will be served. Please see Mrs. Lobser to verify your participation.

Hey Arapahoe students, tonight is the Prom Fashion Show. Come check out the newest and hottest in prom fashions. Admission to the show is only $2 and all paying spectators have a chance to win some fabulous door prizes. Hope to see you all there!

Attention Chess Players! All students and staff are invited to participate in the AHS Student/Staff Chess Tournament on Tuesday, April 20th at 2:30 p.m. in the cafeteria. All levels of players are invited to participate! Please see Mrs. Lobser in the Study Center to sign up!

Any students who are interested in joining the newspaper or yearbook next year should pick up an application from Mr. Anderson in room E8.

Have you taken a lot of Business Classes? If you have you may qualify for a certificate of proficiency in the area of business. Please come by and fill out an application in the Business office. They must be turned in by today.

Interested in running for a student council office for the 2010-2011 school year? Stop by Mr. Brandberg’s office in World Language or Mrs. Lee’s office in Language Arts to get an application. Applications for all potential officers are due Tuesday, April 21st.

Attention All Juniors!!! The State ACT is on April 28th. If you missed registration, please go the Guidance Office for Registration Materials.

Athletics

Congratulations to our Boys' JV Lacrosse players on Friday's 16-2 awesome win against Overland High School. Keep up the good teamwork Warriors!

ABK had a big win over #3 Air Academy on a Laura Fee’s goal with an assist from Andrea Lewis with 12 seconds left in overtime to win 1-0. Come see your ABK girls in action on Tuesday 4/20 at 7p.m. at LPSS against Smoky Hill, and Thursday 4/22 against Cherokee Trail at Legacy stadium at 5:30. Your ABK team has now taken over the #1 spot in the state! You want to be sure you catch all the action!

Congratulations to both the Boys' and Girls' Track and Field teams for their outstanding performances at this past weekend’s NIKE Invitational. Out of 38 of the state’s best teams your boys and girls finished in second place getting edged out only by Fountain-Fort Carson. Best of luck in your upcoming competitions.

Attention Football Players: The mandatory booster club meeting for the parents of football players will be held on Monday, April 26 from 7:00-8:30 pm in the Forum. We will discuss and register for upcoming spring and summer football activities. See you there – and Go Warriors.

The Boys’ Lacrosse Varsity 2 team competes today with Evergreen High School at 5:00 at the Powell Middle School Fields. Go Warriors Lacrosse! Stop by and cheer on another Warriors Victory!
