General Announcements

Congratulations to the Winter Percussion Ensemble for an incredible performance at last Saturday’s state finals! Competing in the highest division, our winter percussion ensemble placed 2nd and earned the silver medal. Our students represented Arapahoe High School with the greatest professionalism. Way to go Warriors!!!

Art Attack is fast approaching!!!! Do you have your entries in? If not, see one of the teachers in the Art Department.

Spring Musical tickets for Cinderella are now on sale in the cafeteria during both lunches or see a cast member. Don’t miss the ball!

Calling all math students! Metro State Math Day is Wednesday, April 9th. If you like problem solving, building things, and to be challenged mathematically, then you should attend Metro State Math Day. It is on Wednesday, April 9th and will be a full day of math activities. Anyone interested, please stop by Mrs. Bretz’s desk in the math office and take a permission slip.

Attention Juniors: AHS is able to offer a free practice ACT Tuesday April 13th from 4:00-7:30 p.m. in Rooms N-2 and N-3. Sign up begins on Thursday April 1st in the Guidance Center. Princeton Review will offer a feedback session and that date is to be determined.

Warriors, auditions for Prom Talent Show are quickly approaching! Auditions are April 20th and 21st. Sign-up sheets are in the main office. Share your talent!

Attention All Juniors!!!! Registration for the State ACT is coming….April 12th in Western Civilization Classrooms. Counselors will walk you through it during class time. If you don’t have a Western Civ. class, please make an appointment with your counselor.

For those of you going to Prom on May 8th, Prom Guest Forms are in the Activities/Attendance Office. They are due back for approval before Tuesday, May 4th.

Seniors, here is your chance to leave a legacy with your friends and family. Sign-up now for graduation speaker auditions. Auditions will be held on Thursday, April 22nd. Please sign-up in Mrs. Sisler’s office by Friday, April 16th. This is a rare opportunity to share your observations with a captive audience. See Mrs. Cornils in the Social Studies Office for more details.

Athletics

The Warrior Varsity Girls Lacrosse team lost a heartbreaker to Regis 12-13 in overtime on Thursday. Four goals each were made by Megan O'Donnell and Rachael Sutton, with singles scored by Sydney Engelhart, Audrey Damico, Alli Camp, and Kayla Fasold. Goalie Chloe Williams saw 25 shots in all. The girls in black are looking forward to their first win when they take on Cherokee Trail Wednesday at LPS Stadium. Go Warriors!

Good luck to the Boys’ JV Lacrosse team with their 4:30 game today at Powell Middle School against Littleton High School. Come and enjoy the warm weather and cheer on your fellow Warriors!

The Warrior Freshman Lacrosse team beat rival Heritage last Friday in a 7-0 win. They play another rival this afternoon when they take on Littleton at Goddard Middle School at 4:30 today.

A reminder to all volleyball players that there is no open gym tonight due to Freshman Registration. We will meet again next week Monday from 7 to 9 in the small gym.

Girls’ Golf JV and Varsity White teams will practice at Littleton Golf and Tennis today.

Attention Girls’ Basketball players: We will be having open gym beginning tomorrow, April 6, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the main gym. See you there!
