General Announcements

Congratulations to our AHS Spring Chess Tournament winners! Please recognize the following students: 1st place - Parker Hoggan, 2nd place - Barry Tischler, 3rd place - Alex Bishop, 4th place - Thomas Caldwell, 5th place - Aaron Fiorini, 6th place - Richard Prati, 7th place - Matt Bubke, 8th place - Chelsea Gagnon, 9th place - Andy Ingle and 10th place - Cole Dawley. Thanks to Kevin Rohde for his leadership and organization of this event.

For those of you that signed up for the Talent show try-outs remember to go to N2 &N3. If you are a band, please set up in the large gym on Wednesday and we will come to you for judging.

Any students who are interested in joining the newspaper or yearbook next year should pick up an application from Mr. Anderson in room E8.

Key Club officer elections for the 2010-2011 school year are Monday, April 26th! This is also our last meeting of the year, so come by, choose officers and pencil in our last service projects!

Hey all you seniors!!! Don’t forget there is a very important Senior Class Meeting on Wednesday, April 28th at 10:30 a.m. in the AHS Theater. We will be discussing graduation details and other end of the year information. Please be on time!

Attention All Juniors!!! The State ACT is on April 28th. If you missed registration, please go the Guidance Office for Registration Materials.

Seniors: The scholarship you’ve been asking about and waiting for is here! Please stop by the Post Grad Center to pick up a copy of the JEM Scholarship application. This is a scholarship unique to Arapahoe and is only for Arapahoe students.

Athletics

Your Girls’ Varsity Tennis team defeated Grandview last night by a score of 7-0. The Varsity team has a record of 7 wins and 2 losses. Congratulations girls.

The Girls’ JV Tennis team again was victorious over Overland with an impressive 17-0 win. Come watch the team play on the AHS courts on Tuesday against Kent Denver.

Attention Football Players: The mandatory booster club meeting for the parents of football players will be held on Monday, April 26 from 7:00-8:30 pm in the Forum. We will discuss and register for upcoming spring and summer football activities. See you there – and Go Warriors.

Come out this afternoon at 4:30 at Powell Middle School to cheer on your Boys’ JV lacrosse players as they go up against Denver East High School. Good luck Warriors!
