Hey all you spirited Warriors! This is a reminder that all paperwork for the 2007-2008 Cheer Tryouts is due in the Athletic Office no later than tomorrow. Clinics begin April 26th at 5:00 p.m. Please see Mrs. Pramenko in the main office if you have any questions!
The Arapahoe Band Boosters are holding a Prom Package raffle which will continue all this week during both lunches in the cafeteria. Tickets are $3 each or 4 "chances" for $10. All proceeds benefit the AHS Band Program.
The "Prom Package" includes: Limo and driver for 6 hours-limo seats 6 with TV/DVD/Surround Sound, Dinner for two at the Copper Fox, Dinner for two at PF Chang's, Flowers from Cherry Knolls Florist, Tuxedo rental from Mr. Neat's-9617 E. County Line Rd, Nails by Pauline-manicure and pedicure, Hair Style (can't remember the salon), 2 tickets to AHS After-Prom.
Hey Warriors! Have you bought your shoes for Prom yet? If not, head to Off Broadway Shoes the weekend of April 20 – 22nd to earn money for AHS DECA! All you have to do is purchase shoes there and bring in your receipt to Mrs. Grantham.
IT’S HERE! The moment you’ve all been waiting for! Applications to work in the DECA store are available NOW! Stop by the DECA store or the Business office to pick up your application to work in the DECA store either in the Fall or Spring semester of next year.
Attention future AP Science Students: You will need to come to the science office and pick up a blue application form in order to be considered for any AP Science course. This needs to be done for each AP Science course that you are applying for and the application is due by April 25th.
Tickets for "The Music Man" are on sale this week in the lunch room. The show is April 18-21. Don't miss it.
Cookies for Cancer! All proceeds from cookies purchased this week in the DECA store will be donated to the Avon Foundation for Breast Cancer research. Stop by today to support a good cause!
Students who would like to be on the yearbook, newspaper or video staff for next fall, please complete your applications by Friday. You can drop the application off in E-8 or the main office.
If you were one of the artists or writers who had something published in this year’s Muse magazine, and couldn’t make it to the Showcase last week, stop by Mr. Miles’ desk in the Language Arts office to get your complimentary copy. You must do this by tomorrow. After that the remaining copies will be sold. Again, anyone published in this year’s Muse, needs to pick up their complimentary copy by Wednesday.
Last chance to sign up for the talent show. Sign up in the main office. Tryouts are today in room N2 and N3.
Would you like to see Mr. Serniak with a pie in his face? How about Mrs. Hurt or Ms. Smith? These teachers have graciously volunteered to take a pie in the face if you put enough money in their can at lunch this week. You can even buy a ticket for a chance to be the chosen student to throw that pie if your name is drawn at the assembly this Friday. So, stick around at lunch and gather up loose change to vote for your favorite teacher.
Important information for seniors! Applications for Business Certificates of Proficiency are now available in the Business Dept. Be sure to stop by and pick one up if you don't have a business class this semester. Applications are due April 30th and certificates will be distributed the first week of May. Don't miss out on this special recognition of all your hard work!

Athletics
Due to a problem with the pool, all pool classes will not be in the water today. You are still to meet with your teacher in the swimming pool area, wear tennis shoes and bring something to work on.
GIRLS GOLF RULES! Congrats to Leslie McGetrick, Sarah Moore and Aubrey Dreessen for their 3rd place team finish at the Northglenn Invite yesterday. Leslie McGetrick and Sarah Moore also tied for 3rd place among the 80 individuals that competed. Both ladies broke 80 with scores of 79. Way to go!
The JV Boys Lacrosse team has continued its awesome winning streak of 9 straight wins! Friday, they beat Douglas County 13 to 1, and on Saturday had a strong win of 8 to 3 and last night fought hard to beat Mullen 5 to 4. The defense against Mullen was strong and the agility of the offense gave Arapahoe the win.
The Arapahoe Boys Swimming and Diving team will have team pictures at 2:30 PM today. Bring your gear and warm ups. Also, practice will resume at normal times today for all groups.
The girls Arapahoe C-Team Lax. did a awesome job against Wheatridge on Monday. They beat Wheatridge 9 to 3. Good job C-Team.
