General Announcements

Sophomores and junior’s who are planning on taking part in the Post Secondary Enrollment Options program for next year, don’t forget to have all of your paperwork in to your counselor by May 1st!

The Rocky Mountain Association for College Admission Counseling (RMACAC) and the Colorado Council on High School/College Relations (CCHS/CR) are pleased to announce the spring Denver College Fair program being held on Sunday, April 29, 2007 from 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. at the University of Denver Richie Center (located in the Gates Field House on the south side of the Richie Center). This year we expect approximately 180 colleges and universities to participate.

A reminder for all TSA members planning on attending the TSA Nationals in Nashville, Tennessee: your commitment and deposit are due by 2:30pm Friday, April 27th…that’s today. We will also have a short meeting next Monday after school in room E10 to discuss event registrations. See Mr. McMullen with questions or concerns.

Hey Amnesty people and all of you who want to be part of Amnesty! We're having an end of the year amnesty party next Tuesday May 1st in room N-6 in celebration of this awesome year we just had! We'll be listening to music and eating food and drinking drinks and reminiscing about all the fun stuff we did this year.

Attention seniors! The survey for the senior map in the May issue of the Arapahoe Herald is in your history classes now. Pick up a survey from E8 if you didn’t get one in class. Return completed surveys to E8 or give them to Kate Nixon or Rachel Post by Friday, April 27th.

Seniors – the deadline is almost here! The new $1,000 scholarship sponsored by the Colorado Business Bank of Littleton, for any senior this year that took the personal finance course, is due on Monday 30TH at 3:00pm. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to help pay for college!!

Thespians and Drama club groupies there will be a short Drama Club meeting today Friday April 27 at 2:30. Don't miss it! It is important! It is fun! It is! Those wishing to be considered for next year's company class see Mr. Earley today.

Athletics

Last night the Boys JV Lacrosse team continued its powerful season with a win over Creek, 11-4. Goals were made by Josh Cook, Blake Besancon, Hunter Hall, Matt Huner, Logan Chandler, Chip Stahmer and Tyler St. Pierre. The awesome JV team will be playing Castle View today at Powell at 4 PM, Come out for some sun and cheer the boys on!

The girls JV soccer team defeated Regis last night 1–0 in overtime. Great work ABK.

JV Black Tennis won their match yesterday against Rangeview 7-2. Come watch their last match today against Gateway @ Powell at 3pm.

Congratulations to the boys and girls freshman / sophomore Track and Field teams for their outstanding performances at their league championships yesterday. The boy’s team placed second and the girl’s team was league champions. The best of luck to the varsity team as they compete today at the Liberty Bell invitational. Come out and support our athletes at Littleton Public School Stadium today and tomorrow.

Attention Lacrosse fans! All you fans have been wonderful in cheering on your undefeated Varsity 1 Boys Lacrosse team this season, and today we really need you again! V1 will take on powerhouse Kent this afternoon, at Kent! The game starts at 4:30, so get on over to Kent and cheer your Lacrosse Boys on toward another victory. Go Warriors, beat Kent!!!
