General Announcements
Attention Warriors! This is an important announcement regarding registration and scheduling paperwork for next year’s schedule. An addendum page containing additions, changes and corrections to the 2007-2008 schedule, will be handed out in classes on Monday. You will now have until Thursday, April 26th to turn in your registration cards to your counselors. Don’t forget to get teacher’s signatures where needed before submitting your cards.
ATTENTION JUNIORS: As you know Wednesday, April 25 is the statewide ACT test. This test along with your GPA will be used by colleges and universities to assess your acceptance for 2008. Please take time to review your ACT practice test and be here by 7:15 on Wednesday. You will need number 2 lead pencils, a calculator and a photo ID. Please check room assignments posted in the cafeteria and gym hallways. Lunch will be available here, after the ACT is completed, in the cafeteria and classes for the day begin at 11:30am. Everyone here at Arapahoe wishes you the very best as you prepare for your future.
Attention future AP Science Students: You will need to come to the science office and pick up a blue application form in order to be considered for any AP Science course. This needs to be done for each AP Science course that you are applying for and the application is due by Wednesday, April 25th.
Hey AHS students, do you want to see your school's talent unmasked? Do you want to see prom royalty unveiled? Ticket sales for the prom talent show begin today, April 23. Tickets for the 5pm and the 7:30pm shows will be sold during both lunches through Thursday, April 26, for $5.00 each.
Hey there Arapahoe! Have you heard of the 3 sevens? FBLA wants your help sending seven students to the two thousand seven National competitions. For the first time in seven years! Come to the Maggie Moos by Park Meadows between 5 and closing on Wednesday, April 25th, 15% of the proceeds go to our FBLA chapter. Thank-you for your support, and we will see you there.
Congratulations to sophomores Pieter Orlandini and Daniel Huh and freshmen Tom Roberts and Lane Childers. These students took 2nd place in the Algebra competition at Metro State Math Day. Nice job students
The cast, crew and orchestra of "The Music Man" would like to thank you for your support. We had a great time performing and hope you enjoyed the show...you were great audiences... All those involved with the show please pick up you stuff or it becomes property of the theatre of the trash.

Attention Seniors! The survey for the senior map in the May issue of the Arapahoe Herald is in your history classes now. Pick up a survey from E8 if you didn’t get one in class. Return completed surveys to E8 or give them to Kate Nixon or Rachel Post by Friday, April 27th.
Athletics
Attention all girls interested in playing softball next year. There will be a short meeting Thursday, April 26th right after school in room N-4.
Attention all Lacrosse fans!! Your undefeated, Varsity 1 Boys Lacrosse team beat Regis last night with a score of 7-6. Goalie Wes Gibler had another fantastic game. The game was tied 6-6 with just a few seconds left of the game when Kevin Law put his third goal into the Regis net for the win. Scoring for V1 was Kevin Law; 3 Goals, Matt Pullara, 2 Goals; Chris Carry; 1 Goal, Ryan Parietti; 1 Goal and Eric Law; 2 assists. Thank you fans for braving the weather to cheer your Varity 1 boys toward another victory.
JV Girls Lacrosse had a FANTASTIC game against Kent last night! Even though they lost the game by one point, they surely gave Kent a tough fight from the very beginning. The Lady Warriors were ahead the entire game until the very last minutes of the game. Goalie Julia Baker had over 13 saves and it was a beautiful game to watch. The entire JV team played a fantastic game. Allee Day had 6 of the 10 goals and Katherine Igoe, Shelli Marr, Brittney Walker and Emma VanVranken had one goal each.
The Arapahoe boys swimming and diving team will compete against Ft. Collins High School today at 3 PM.
Is freshman Sarah Moore in your class? Sarah Moore gets a pat on the back for placing 5th in the girl’s golf invite tournament yesterday at Glenmoor Country Club. Sarah shot an 81 and had 1 birdie and an eagle too. Congrats Sarah and nice job! Also, the JV Girls Golf Tournament has been cancelled for today. There will be no Girls Golf practice or tournament today.
The Girls Lacrosse C Team practice is cancelled for today.
The Level III boys Lacrosse team had two great wins Saturday and Monday. Saturday they beat Rock Canyon 13-5. Monday the boys played a great game against Ponderosa and won 9-1. Come support the team as they play their last home game this Wednesday against Cherry Creek, at 4:30 at Powell Middle School. Go Warriors!
Student Initiated Groups-
Have you ever wanted to make a piñata? In honor of upcoming 5 de mayo the Spanish club will be hosting a piñata making fiesta this Wednesday April 25th at 2:30 in room C-21. We ask that you bring some paper mache to decorate and candy to share for the filling! This will be a two part event so make sure you come this Wednesday to start your piñatas! Any questions see Ms. DiSepio.
