General Announcements

Juniors and Seniors are invited to sign up for the ASVAB Career Exploration Program – a comprehensive career exploration and planning program designed to help students learn about their interest and explore the world of work. All you have to do to take advantage of this program is take the ASVAB. Testing is scheduled at our school on April 11 at 2:30 pm. Do your best and enjoy all the benefits the ASVAB Program has to offer. For more information or to sign up, see Mrs. Oeinck in the Guidance Office.

Big news Arapahoe! Do you remember the band Bobblehead Buddha from recent Homecoming and Prom Talent Shows? That’s right, they’re that sweet band of senior guys who rock the end of every show. Well, Bobblehead Buddha will perform live in concert TONIGHT at 7:00 in the Arapahoe cafeteria! Don’t miss your chance to see this talented group tonight as a part of Wish Week! Tickets are only $3 and will be sold at lunch and at the door. Bring your money to donate for Cayle’s hot tub! See you tonight at 7!

Hey Muse members and friends, we have a meeting today after school in C16! Don’t forget your calendars!

Hey Warriors! Are you having a blast during Wish Week? Well, who says the fun has to stop when Wish Week is over? Student Council and the Remember Club are teaming up to give you an amazing casual dance – A Night to Remember! Remember that it’s next Friday the 13th from 7 to 10 in the cafeteria! Tickets are only $5, but if you wear your Remember bracelet, you’ll get a dollar off! Profits will go to the Senior Class Gift and to Remember Club. Be sure to remember next Friday at 7!

Attention all NHS members: we will have a brief meeting today at 2:20 in the forum. Remember that all service logs must be filled out and turned in by May 2nd.

Attention all FCCLA members: Please plan to attend a short meeting on Tuesday April 10th right after school in room E2. We will be launching our final community service project “Quarters for Kids”, discussing our scrap book, as well as discussing our plans for the end of the year. It should be over by 3:00. Snacks will be provided! See you then FCCLA!

Athletics

The Varsity Baseball Home Opener is today at 4:00 pm against Douglas County HS and everyone is invited to come out and watch the Warriors dominate the Huskies. The baseball booster club will be giving away several Chipotle “Burrito Bucks” for all Warrior home runs and also for winners of trivia contests so come on out and cheer the Warriors on to victory!

The girl’s varsity tennis team lost a close and hard fought match yesterday to Mountain Vista by a score of 3-4. Come out to the Arapahoe courts today at 3:30 pm to support your Warriors as they go up against Littleton.

The girls JV soccer team defeated Heritage yesterday, 3 – 2. Excellent job ladies. Reminder to all Girls Soccer Players: Pictures today – be prompt.

Student Initiated Groups-

Hey Animal Lovers! Be there today after school in room W104, where the Animals Deserve Rights Club will debrief the last meeting and have lots of snacks. Also, we are planning to visit the Colorado Humane Society on April 14th, so save the date and come to a meeting for more info!

Young Democrats will NOT have a meeting today.
