General Announcements
Juniors and Seniors are invited to sign up for the ASVAB Career Exploration Program – a comprehensive career exploration and planning program designed to help students learn about their interest and explore the world of work. All you have to do to take advantage of this program is take the ASVAB. Testing is scheduled at our school on April 11 at 2:30 pm. Do your best and enjoy all the benefits the ASVAB Program has to offer. For more information or to sign up, see Mrs. Oeinck in the Guidance Office.

Want to dance the night away? Well you’re in luck! Next Friday, April 13th, Student Council and the Remember Club are sponsoring “A Night to Remember” dance from 7-10pm in the cafeteria. Tickets will be sold at the door. Come and enjoy a Night to Remember!!
Attention all FCCLA members: Please plan to attend a short meeting on Tuesday April 10th right after school in room E2. We will be launching our final community service project “Quarters for Kids”, discussing our scrap book, as well as discussing our plans for the end of the year. It should be over by 3:00. Speech Club members are reminded to bring in their money for the banquet. All nominees for next year's officers need to have speeches prepared for next meeting.
Congratulations to Senior Tuba player, Jeff Henton for being selected into the apprentice program at the 2007 Sacramento Jazz Jubilee. He will be performing with a professional band throughout the festival. Also, Jeff received a plaque for being named the most outstanding jazz trombonist at this year’s Mile High Jazz Festival. He was also selected to perform in the prestigious Mile High Jazz Festival All Star Band this summer. He will also be featured with the band, live on KUVO radio. A special congratulation also goes to The Dry Creek Dixie Dawgs for receiving a special award plaque at the Mile High Jazz Festival. They were named one of the top combos at the 2007 festival!
Journalism is having an information night tonight, April 5th for anyone interested in joining the yearbook, newspaper or video staffs. The quick meeting will start at 7:00 PM and will answer any questions you might have about the three staffs, and end in enough time to still go to the wish week basketball game.
Hey, would be engineers! 2 upcoming events of interest – University of Nebraska, Lincoln, invites you to the annual E-Week Open house on Friday, April 20 AND CU’s Annual High School Honors Institute in Engineering is accepting applications for this summer’s program. This is a competitive program for students entering their junior or senior year and requires an application. Information for both programs is in the Post Grad Center.

The AHS Track Team is sponsoring the City of Littleton Championships this Friday, April 6th. Jamba Juice will be at the City of Littleton Championships on Friday, April 6th at LPS Stadium selling Caribbean Passion and Raspberry Lime Sublime Jamba Juices to benefit the AHS Track Team. They will be there from 3:00pm to 6:00pm. Please come out…drink Jamba and benefit AHS Track!
Attention Warrior Lacrosse Fans! Get ready to plan your weekend around one of the most exciting events in High School Sports. This will be the first really intense games of the season. Come to LPS on Saturday night at 7:00 and get pumped about watching your Varsity 1 LAX boys beat Cherry Creek. It promises to be a great match-up and the Warriors need you all in the stands. Come ready to cheer them on loudly!! Go Warriors!
The Girls Varsity Lacrosse team defeated Rangeview 24-1 yesterday afternoon. 17 girls on the team scored making this a true team effort. Way to go Warriors!!
