General Announcements

Juniors and Seniors are invited to sign up for the ASVAB Career Exploration Program – a comprehensive career exploration and planning program designed to help students learn about their interest and explore the world of work. All you have to do to take advantage of this program is take the ASVAB. Testing is scheduled at our school on April 11 at 2:30 pm. Do your best and enjoy all the benefits the ASVAB Program has to offer. For more information or to sign up, see Mrs. Oeinck in the Guidance Office.

Hey Amnesty kids and anyone else interested in helping with the Afghan night! Come to our meeting tomorrow after school in N6 to plan our BRING YOUR PARENT TO SCHOOL Night for April 23. There will be snacks so bring your friends!

Musers!! It’s that time of the year when all our hard work pays off, the Muse magazine is coming soon! Congrats to all poets, writers, and artists who are in the magazine and all the Muse members! Note we have a meeting tomorrow after school in C16, bring friends and calendars!

It’s finally here, Warriors! The CU Buffoons will perform in Arapahoe’s very own theater TONIGHT at 7:00 as a part of Wish Week! Don’t miss your chance to see and hear this incredible all-male a-cappella group live in concert! Plus, the talented Arapahoe Singers will perform an opening act before the Buffoons take the stage! Tickets are only $3 for students and will be sold at lunch and at the door. Bring your money to donate for Cayle’s hot tub! See you tonight at 7!

Athletics
Do you know any girls who can play golf? Well, Anny Lim, Karla Kirby, Kerry Leary, Alex Kenworthy, Amber Harder and Hannah Fritz can play golf. They all helped contribute to a JV 3rd place finish in the tournament yesterday. Anny Lim finished in 3rd place among the individual scores. Congrats and great job ladies!

The Varsity Baseball Home Opener is this Wednesday at 4:00 pm against Douglas County HS and everyone is invited to come out and watch the Warriors dominate the Huskies. The baseball booster club will be giving away several Chipotle “Burrito Bucks” for all Warrior home runs and also for winners of trivia contests so come on out and cheer the Warriors on to victory!

The AHS Level III Boys Lacrosse Team had another great game yesterday against Castleview! Arapahoe won 12 - 6! Good game by Goalie Scott Thompson and his defense. Goals by: Neil Harding-Rutledge, Alex Knopf, Anthony Damico, Dylan Smith, Tyler Goodman, Ty Coder, Quinn Booth, Nick Prudhomme; Assists by: Greg Goede, Dan Cross, Ben Knopf, Dylan Smith

The freshman boy’s lacrosse team had another great win yesterday defeating Castle View 12-6. Good job Warriors!
